Gil Weiser, Chairman of the Board
As the Chair of BGN Board, Gil also serves as Chairman of MDA net and the Board of the Israeli Friends of Magen David Adom. Mr. Weiser boasts a long distinguished diverse career , including roles such as Haifa University Executive Board Chair and serving on the Board of Directors of the Israel Stock Exchange. His career highlights feature CEO positions at Digital Corp. Israel, Fibronics-Worldwide Network Solution Corp. HP Israel and Orsus solution co. among others. Mr. Weiser has played pivotal roles as Chairman/Director in numerous high-tech (public) companies, including Fundtech, Clicksoftware, Attunity and Formula Systems. Holding an M.Sc. from the University of Minnesota and a B.Sc. from the Technion, he brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the organizations he serves.
Prof. Daniel Chamovitz
Professor Daniel Chamovitz
Professor Daniel Chamovitz, President of Ben-Gurion University, earned his PhD from Hebrew University and did postdoctoral research at Yale. The distinguished scientist founded centers on food security and sustainability, and authored the acclaimed book "What a Plant Knows." Chamovitz serves on boards of ICIPE and industry firms, held visiting scientist roles, and pioneered research impacting agriculture and health.
Hanan Shahaf
Hanan Shahaf, MBA
Founded and managed Rosh Tov Software Industries, a publicly traded company 1982 until 2011. About five years later, it was sold to Magic, a subsidiary of Formula Group. Hanan still serves as the CEO of Rosh Tov. He holds a degree in Engineering from Ben-Gurion University and an MBA from Kellogg Business school & Tel Aviv University. He is married to Eti, a father to six children, and a grandfather to 12 grandchildren
David Federmann
David Federmann
David Federmann has served in various management capacities at Federmann Enterprises LTD. since 2000. He currently serves as chair of the board of Elbit systems LTD, Freiberger compound materials  and as a member of the boards of directors of Dan Hotels, and several other private companies. David Federmann holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and philosophy from New York University.
Dr. Nurit Harel
Dr. Nurit Harel
Dr. Nurit Harel is a second generation  industrialist and researcher, currently serving as the Co-Chairman of Fischer Pharmaceuticals Ltd. She is a pharmacist, holding a master's degree in human genetics and a doctorate in biomedical sciences. Dr. Harel has played a pivotal role in driving research and development initiatives for new products within the company, as well as contributing to its business development. Throughout her career, she has held positions such as VP R&D at a dermatological biotech company and CEO of a drug development company. In addition to her professional endeavors, she gives lectures in both science and business fields. Dr. Harel is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the International Society of Microbiota, highlighting her commitment to advancing knowledge and collaboration within these fields. Beyond her professional commitments, Dr. Nurit Harel is actively engaged in various social and volunteer activities.
Tal Ben Haim
Tal Ben Haim
Tal Ben Haim joins the University after years of consulting to various Israeli universities, as a senior manager at global consulting company Ernst & Young (EY), assisting their presidents in crafting and implementing an organizational strategy and improving processes and outcomes. He brings his experience in strategic planning, developing and advancing human resources and leading processes of change in organizations to his role as the new director-general.
Prof. Raz Jelinek
Prof. Raz Jelinek
Prof. Raz Jelinek is the Vice President and Dean for R&D of Ben Gurion university and on the faculty of the Department of Chemistry. Raz holds a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley. He held Visiting Professor positions at the University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins University, Jilin University (China), and NYU Shanghai (China). Prof. Jelinek has published around 250 scientific articles, wrote four textbooks, and has over 20 patents. Raz also co-founded two startup companies.
Prof. Dan Blumberg
Prof. Dan G. Blumberg
Prof. Dan G. Blumberg is the Chairman of the Israel Space Agency and Vice President for Regional and Industrial Development at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he also holds the Simon Family Chair in Remote Sensing. Prior to his current positions, Prof. Blumberg served from 2014 to 2019 as the Vice-President and Dean for Research and Development at the University.

Hanna Pri-Zan
Hanna Pri-Zan serves as the Board of Directors Chair for "The Israel Experience". She has decades of local and global capital markets experience as part of the Bank Hapoalim management team. She sits in the board of publicly traded companies and is active in social organizations, incl. the Cycling Association, Friends of Magen David Adom, and Friends of the Israel Museum. Hanna is dedicated to promoting financial education and advancing women to senior leadership roles.
