Ben-Gurion University and BGN have joined forces to advance
Bio-related technologies developed by our scientists in relevant fields
(Pharma, Bio-Convergence, Biotechnology, Diagnostics, Medical Devices, Digital Health, etc.).
The Bio Innovation Unit canvasses all relevant research in the Bio space, from the ideation
stage to pre-commercial technologies, across all of BGU's relevant faculties and departments.
The Unit reviews research proposals and directs scientists to relevant internal and external
funding opportunities while defining significant milestones relevant to future commercialization.
The Unit also promotes multi-disciplinary research at BGU, bringing together scientists
from different disciplines (such as biology, chemistry, physics, medicine, computer science,
chemical engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering etc..) to generate
new cutting-edge technologies.
