About the Program

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in a wide range of subjects that encompass both practical and theoretical aspects of electrical and computer engineering.

The aim of the M.Sc. program is to provide students with expertise and advanced knowledge in a selected specialization area within electrical and computer engineering. Students graduating with a M.Sc. degree can apply for senior R&D positions in industry, and may continue towards the Ph.D. studies.

Requirements for Registration

The registration conditions are correct at this time and are subject to change depending on supply and demand. To secure your place in the program you wish to be admitted to at an early stage, we recommend that you register early.

  • Applicants to the M.Sc. program in ECE should hold a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or in closely related fields at a minimum GPA of 80/100 (according to the Israeli grading system).

  • A TOEFL score of at least 85/120 or the equivalent score in an internationally recognized English proficiency exam is required. The English proficiency requirement is waived for applicants who received their B.Sc. degree in a program taught in English.

  • GRE is recommended but not required.
