The WSISIP offers full-tuition scholarships for those in the research track of the MA program, as well as a generous monthly stipend and subsidized rent in our on-campus housing.
Students from the US who are enrolled in the one-year program are eligible to apply for a Fulbright Scholarship.
Grants are also available through Masa Israel Journey (a joint project of the Israeli Government and the Jewish Agency for Israel), for those who are eligible. To find out more and to apply, please visit Masa Israel.
- Academic transcripts from the bachelor's degree and/or any other previous degree, with a clear final grade point average. The transcripts may be submitted as a scanned PDF file. Please attach the grade scale.

- A short essay, no longer than one page, explaining why you would like to join the program
- Preliminary Research Statement: One-page declaration of research plans presenting your research interests and themes for your thesis topic .
- Two letters of recommendation from faculty members who are familiar with your academic work and skills should be sent by the recommender directly to israelstudies@bgu.ac.il
- A Reference form for graduate students
- An application form will be sent directly via email to the WSISIP students coordinator: israelstudies@bgu.ac.il
- Interview in person or via Skype.
