The Board of Governors committees serve as a bridge between the Governors and the University, allowing members to engage with campus life, share insights, and contribute to its growth.
These committees provide a platform for Governors to follow their interests, stay informed about developments, and suggest improvements. Governors are encouraged to join one or multiple committees based on their passion.
As advisory bodies, the committees do not hold constitutional authority but offer recommendations to the University’s administration on specific goals or projects. Their role is to provide strategic guidance without enforcing decisions.
Each committee is led by a Governor as Chairperson and co-chaired by a relevant University staff member. The remaining members are drawn from the Board of Governors.
Meetings are held three times a year—once in person during the Board of Governors' week and twice remotely via video or telephone conference, ensuring ongoing engagement and collaboration.
