ללא שם.png.jpgOlder Gays in a Digital World, funded by the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) as part of the ACT project (Aging + Coomunication + Technologies), adresses the ways in which senior gay men use (and benefit from) new media. Based on interviews, it asks whether and how they use new information and communication technologies to better their everyday lives.

Capabilities divide

This project, funded by Israel’s Minstry of Science, Technology and Space, addresses gaps in ICT use by three digitally disadvantaged Israeli communities: Haredi Jews, Jewish Ethiopian immigrants, and the Bedouin. Theoretically, it draws on John Rawls’s redistributive justice and Amartya Sen’s capabilities approach.
